This day , July 20, 1969, American astronaut Neil Armstrong, at 10:56 pm EDT told mission control “The eagle has landed.”Then Neil Armstrong at the age of 38, set foot on the moon starting the age of space exploration, with his well known quote “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” Neil made his long travel on the Apollo 11 about 240,000 miles away from Earth.
